Fran Valiante has been part of West Shores Baptist Church from the very beginning. As one of our original members, she has seen many years of God’s faithfulness and has been a special part of the West Shores family through it all.

Fran has a wonderful eye for decorating and uses that talent to make our church feel warm, welcoming, and cared for. From seasonal decorations to special occasions and all the little details in between, Fran has a way of making our church beautiful.

But Fran is much more than our decorator—she is a treasured part of West Shores. Her love for the Lord, her faithfulness to her church, and her willingness to serve have been a blessing for many years.

We’re thankful for Fran and all the love she pours into making West Shores feel like home.

Shaun Kunnman has been part of West Shores Baptist Church from the very beginning. As one of our original members, he has been a faithful part of the church and has had the opportunity to see God work and bless West Shores through the years.

Shaun serves as our Church Treasurer, faithfully helping oversee the financial responsibilities of the church with care and dedication. His willingness to serve behind the scenes helps keep things running smoothly and allows our church to stay focused on reaching people and sharing the Gospel.

More than his role as Treasurer, Shaun is a valued part of the West Shores family. His years of faithfulness and commitment to the church are a blessing, and we are thankful for the part he continues to play in the ministry of West Shores Baptist Church.

Brian and Roberta Bennett have been a special part of West Shores Baptist Church from the very beginning. As original members of the church, they have faithfully served the Lord and the West Shores family for many years.

Brian serves as our Head Financial Officer and Song Leader. Whether helping oversee the financial responsibilities of the church or leading the congregation in worship through song, Brian faithfully uses his abilities to serve the Lord and His church.

Roberta serves as our Lead Pianist, using her musical talent to be an important part of our worship services. Her faithfulness at the piano has helped fill West Shores with beautiful music through the years.

Brian and Roberta have been married for 49 years, and together they are a wonderful example of faithfulness—to one another, to their church, and to the Lord. We are thankful for their many years of service and for the important part they continue to have in the ministry of West Shores Baptist Church.

Steve and Kathy Tucker are a special part of the West Shores Baptist Church family and the proud parents of our pastor, Nathan Tucker. In November 2026, they will celebrate 51 years of marriage—a wonderful testimony of love, commitment, and faithfulness through the years.

Steve serves as our Lead Usher, helping make sure everyone who walks through the doors of West Shores feels welcomed and at home. His willingness to serve and help wherever needed is an important part of each service.

Kathy serves as our Kitchen Coordinator and is often behind the scenes making sure everything comes together for church meals, fellowships, and special events. She has a heart for serving others and helping create the fellowship that makes our church feel like family.

Together, Steve and Kathy are a valued part of West Shores. We are thankful for their faithful service, their love for the Lord, and the many ways they continue to serve and encourage our church family.
